Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, better known as Black Coffee, is a globally acclaimed multidisciplinary artist and visionary in the electronic music scene. Born on March 11, 1976, in Durban, South Africa, Black Coffee’s music is deeply inspired by the rich and diverse musical heritage of his homeland. His distinctive sound blends traditional African rhythms, jazz, and the evolving house music movement in South Africa. Through years of dedication and innovation, he has explored various musical techniques, honing his craft in DJing and music production. He also studied at a prestigious jazz school, where he refined his skills and developed a deeper understanding of music theory and composition. 
 
Black Coffee’s early global recognition came with his participation in the Red Bull Music Academy in 2003, which provided a significant platform for his emerging talent. His debut album, Black Coffee (2005), introduced his signature fusion of deep and soulful house music. Tracks such as "Superman" and "Turn Me On" were instrumental in his rise within the South African music scene. Notably, "Superman" was later reimagined in a collaboration with American superstar Drake, further showcasing Black Coffee’s ability to blend his style with global influences.
 
His international breakthrough came as he began performing at renowned festivals and venues worldwide. Black Coffee’s dynamic DJ sets, marked by infectious beats and emotive melodies, earned him a devoted global following. His collaborations with prominent artists such as Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, and Usher have solidified his status as a leading figure in global electronic music. A milestone in his career was his historic, sold-out headline performance at Madison Square Garden in 2023. Featuring a 360-degree stage setup, a 12-piece orchestra, and special guest appearances, this event showcased his innovative approach to live performances and reinforced his global reputation.
 
Beyond his musical career, Black Coffee is deeply committed to philanthropy through the Black Coffee Foundation, which focuses on education and empowerment for underprivileged and differently-abled individuals in South Africa. He is currently in the process of building a music school in his home country, further contributing to the development of local talent. His philanthropic efforts extend to various social causes and community support initiatives.
 
Black Coffee’s accolades include a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2022, making him the first South African artist to achieve this honor. He has consistently been ranked among the top 100 artists in DJ Mag since 2016 and has received several other prestigious awards, including BET Awards, SAMA Awards, and DJ Awards. Additionally, he has ventured into fashion, collaborating with Amiri and landing on the covers of renowned magazines such as GQ, where he was named GQ Man of the Year. His interior design work has also garnered recognition, with one of his projects earning a design award.

showcasing his diverse talents and interests. He has made notable appearances on platforms like NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, Circle Live Stream, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He has also collaborated with brands like Virgil Abloh’s Off-White and owns the Yawa Streetwear Store, further reflecting his multifaceted presence in the entertainment industry.
 
Despite his international success, Black Coffee remains deeply connected to his South African roots. He uses his platform to inspire positive change and continues to push boundaries in the world of entertainment. Through his dedication to his craft, commitment to philanthropy, and exploration of various creative fields, Black Coffee is leaving a lasting impact both in South Africa and on the global stage.

A globally recognized pioneer of techno and tech-house, Marco Carola was instrumental in introducing techno to club culture in the early 90s from his native Naples. He was a key figure in the shift from Italo-disco and house towards a more accelerated, industrial sound. Carola's early immersion in club culture and electronic music led him to DJing and production by his teenage years. A driving force in the Neapolitan underground techno scene alongside artists like Davide Squillace, he furthered his creative exploration by founding influential record labels including Design Music and One Thousand Records. A significant shift towards minimalist electronic music in 2004, followed by key releases on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 and the acclaimed album "Play It Loud" in 2011, solidified his international standing. This era also marked the rise of Music On, his iconic residency in Ibiza and global event series, which has become a leading force in tech-house, embodying his core philosophy: "It's all about the music."

Mahmut Orhan embarked on his impressive career at the young age of 16. Orhan made his industry debut in 2011 with a diverse repertoire that includes deep house, indie dance, and nu-disco. He is renowned for his unique synthesis of eastern instruments with western music. His breakthrough track "Feel" (featuring Sena Sener) garnered over 300 million clicks and topped the charts in numerous countries. In 2018, he further established his reputation with his debut album ONE, collaborating with several popular artists. Following "Feel," his singles "Save Me," "6 Days," "Schhh," and "Hero" expanded his global audience, making him a sought-after artist at international festivals.

Nearly 20 years into his career as a globally touring DJ, Joseph Capriati remains one of the most in-demand headliners in the global house and techno scene. Having performed in over 70 countries across six continents, he has left a lasting impact on dance floors worldwide. Known for his dynamic performances and releases on labels like CLR, Drumcode, Nervous Records, and his own Redimension Music, his discography includes three pivotal albums: Save My Soul (2010), Self Portrait (2012), and Metamorfosi (2020). He’s also collaborated with icons like Carl Cox, Adam Beyer Danny Tenaglia, Joey Beltram, DJ Pierre, Louie Vega, and his mentors Rino Cerrone and Markantonio.

Capriati’s Metamorfosi residency at Amnesia, launched in 2022, has grown significantly, making 2024 his strongest season yet. In 2025, he debuts a new residency at Hï Ibiza under the Metamorfosi brand, presenting immersive events that push the boundaries of house and techno with innovative visuals and a diverse lineup of talent. That same year, Capriati releases his highly anticipated album GU47: Joseph Capriati – Montreal for the legendary Global Underground series, showcasing his refined sound and deep musical vision. He also launches Metamorfosi Records in partnership with Insomniac, a label dedicated to exploring fresh sounds while showcasing established and rising artists. PAWSA

PAWSA is a name that has consistently emerged from the burgeoning house and techno scene in recent times. The London-based producer kickstarted his remarkable rise with a bonafide EP on the renowned Lost Records in 2014. The appropriately named 'Pilot’, put a marker down both on Beatport and in the dance community which has provided the basis for further success more
recently.

Picking up steam, PAWSA received the firm backing of industry stalwarts Green Velvet and Nicole Moudaber who both locked down EP's from the innovative producer on Relief Records and Mood Records respectively. Further to that, he can also call upon the likes of Adam Beyer and Pan-Pot as staunch supporters. These early successes further cementing the feeling that PAWSA is a producer destined to make a lasting impact.

In 2015, PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside Michael Bibi and with the underlying motif of "let the music do the talking”, the label provided a firm base for PAWSA's latest EP ‘Stage Two’. The sister company to the much vaunted Solid Grooves club night with regular happenings in London, Ibiza and Berlin, the label has been an important string to the bow of
PAWSA.

PAWSA's signature sound - inventive tech house with an old school vibe - i decisively made for the dance-floor. As a DJ he lays down carefully curated and atmospheric sets. The producer identifies with also being a DJ in the most natural, traditional sense: he makes music which he can play out and share with a crowd. PAWSA regularly performs at esteemed clubs around Europe.
