Nice n Easy Group
SantAnna is a project from the Nice-n-Easy Restaurant Group, which includes seven successful organic restaurants: Nice-n-Easy Mykonos at the island’s town centre; Nesaea, offering contemporary Greek island cuisine on Agia Anna Beach at Kalafatis; two Nice-n-Easy restaurants in Athens in Kolonaki and Kifissia; the Italian bistro & bar Frankie in Athens; as well as “Exquisite” catering services across Greece. In May 2018, the newest addition to the group, “nice n easy” Seaside, debuted in the Greek capital’s most iconic location, Astir Beach.
The group was awarded the “Ruban D’Honneur” in the RSM European Business Awards 2016-2017. Nice-n-Easy has been leading the healthy eating trend, bringing its loyal followers the latest in superfoods and cooking methods. They provide diners with extraordinary menus that explore the senses and inspire the palate. When creativity is in such abundance, it is hard to predict what they have lined up next. The creators of the concept
While many global brands have flocked to beautiful Mykonos, it is the vision of many of its passionate resident Greeks that truly keeps the island going. Greek restaurateur Dimitris Christoforidis and Chef Christos Athanasiadis are two of the best:
Christoforidis lived in LA from the age of 17 for nearly 25 years, and this merging of Mediterannean temperament and the laidback philosophy of Los Angeleno life has inspired his way of being. His attitude is open, his ideas broad and his approach to restaurants and service, fine-tuned. He opened his first restaurant, Nice-n-Easy, in the upmarket Kolonaki neighbourhood of Athens. Christoforidis prefers sportswear to suits, and has exacting standards, much like his favourite crooner and lookalike Frank Sinatra!
The acclaimed chef Christos Athanasiadis puts food front and centre of his projects as a pioneer of farm-to-table cuisine. With extensive experience in top 5-star resorts across Greece and internationally, he is a champion of modern Greek cuisine. Having received numerous awards, he is one of the most respected chefs amongst his contemporaries.
When asked about their vision for SantAnna they exclaimed: “We want it to look like it’s always been there,” and when questioned about the style and décor they insisted: “Being part of the natural environment was key to the design of SantAnna”.
One of Greece’s most exciting and up-and-coming chefs, Theologos Amiras joined Nice-n-Easy Group as Chef de Cuisine at the company’s outpost in Kifisia in 2014, Athens’ upmarket northern suburb, before taking over as Head Chef at SantAnna, Mykonos in 2017.
With a Michelin-starred education in restaurants such as London’s The Hand & Flowers, Belgium’s L’Air du Temps and Copenhagen’s Era Ora, his striking, laser-sharp creativity and innovation shines though in his menus for SantAnna.
Chef de Cuisine, Nikos Anagnostou has over 10 years experience in the culinary arts at luxury hotels and restaurants all over the world, bringing his expertise in Japanese cuisine and innovative cooking to SantAnna Mykonos.
Chef Nikos has worked at global brand restaurants like Nobu in London and Athens, the Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social, the renowned Arts Club in London, and most recently the five-star Park Hotel and Spa in Skopia, Macedonia as executive chef, among other tenures at distinguished kitchens in Santorini, Athens, Holland and beyond.
He now brings his creative skills and understanding of global food trends to SantAnna creating a modern culinary experience for SantAnna guests.
